Elsevier – Publishing conditions 2023

- Eligibility
- Corresponding author affiliated to any b-on member institution. In case there is more than one, the corresponding author considered is the one that submits the article on the platform and undergoes the Author Journey.
- Article type: no restrictions;
- Acceptance date for publication – until December 31st 20231;
- Publication route
- Hybrid journals: up to a maximum of 2038 articles in 20231, in one journal from the publish list;
- GOA Journals: 10% discount in any Gold Journal from the list that can be found here;
- How to benefit from OA conditions:
- When the article is accepted, the author is notified of the open access option, under the b-on agreement;
- Upon validation of the OA choice, the article is immediately available (open) online on the publishers website;
- In parallel, a local institutional contact person performs the validation of affiliation on the Elsevier Open Access Platform, EOAP;
- For GOA articles, the invoice is triggered upon affiliation verification, using the invoicing information inserted by the author during the author journey2
