{"id":3308,"date":"2019-08-01T10:45:37","date_gmt":"2019-08-01T10:45:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.b-on.pt\/?page_id=3308"},"modified":"2026-04-13T10:22:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T10:22:57","slug":"open-access","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.b-on.pt\/en\/open-access\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Access"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The Open Access publishing conditions negotiated by b-on that will be available during the 2025-2027 triennium are listed below<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Institution of affiliation to a b-on member institution at the moment when the article is <strong>accepted<\/strong> for publication;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The institution has <strong>access <\/strong>to content from the publisher in which the author wants to publish;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The article is accepted for publication during the time of <strong>effectiveness<\/strong> of the agreement;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Availability of <strong>annual quota<\/strong>, where applicable;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Journal <strong>included&nbsp;<\/strong>in the agreement (as per the table below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What to do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Submit<\/strong> the article using the institutional email address;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify institution of <strong>affiliation<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At <strong>acceptance<\/strong>, chose the publication route to publish in Open Access <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">under the b-on transformative agreement<\/span> &#8211; identified clearly and unequivocally in the publisher platform, during the Author Journey<em>;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: The purchasing procedure that will produce the upcoming agreements is not yet concluded for all publishers.
