This quota will be renewed by 01\/01\/2027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>\u200b\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Responsible<\/strong> corresponding author <strong>affiliated<\/strong> to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.b-on.pt\/b-on_institutions_2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">b-on member institution with access to IEEE<\/a><sup> 1<\/sup>\u200bon article acceptance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible article types:&nbsp;\n<ul>\n<li><em>Original research articles;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Review articles; <\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Letters<\/em> in a letters publication (not a technical journal).&nbsp;\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Article <strong>accepted <\/strong>for publication after January 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;2026 and before December 31<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;2026;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Publication route<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.b-on.pt\/conceitos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hybrid journals<\/a>:\u00a0<s>up to <strong>10 articles in 2026 <\/strong>in journals from the <a href=\"https:\/\/view.officeapps.live.com\/op\/view.aspx?src=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.b-on.pt%2Factiveapp%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2025%2F02%2FIEEE-Title-List-January-2025_publish_hybrids.xlsx&amp;wdOrigin=BROWSELINK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">title list of eligible journals<\/a><\/s>;\u200b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.b-on.pt\/conceitos\/\" target=\"_blank\">GOA Journals<\/a>:&nbsp;not included in this agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>How to benefit from OA conditions:\u200b<\/strong>\u200b \n<ul>\n<li><strong>Submit <\/strong>the article;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>D<span style=\"color: initial;\">eclare <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: initial;\">institutional affiliation;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On acceptance, IEEE <strong>notifies the author<\/strong> of eligibility for open access publication under the b-on agreement;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Follow the link <\/strong>to complete the <em>author journey <\/em>steps, selecting the option to publish OA under the b-on agreement;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>b-on is notified of the author&#8217;s choice to publish Open Access and verifies the affiliation on the CCC Rights portal;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>1<\/sup>&nbsp;Members that subscribe the all for all hospital package are not included;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><em>Last update: 5\/01\/202<\/em>6<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The quota for OA publication under the transformative agreement has been depleted for 2026.
