AIP – Publishing conditions 2026

• Eligibility​
  • Responsible corresponding author affiliated to a b-on member institution with access to AIP ¹​on article acceptance;
  • Eligible article types: 
    • Brief Communication;
    • Communication;
    • Conference Article;
    • Fast Track or Article-FT;
    • Letter;
    • Note;
    • Perspective;
    • Article;
    • Research Update;
    • Review;
    • Roadmap;
    • Tutorial.​
  • Article accepted for publication after January 1^st 2026 and before December 31^st 2026;
• Publication route
  • Hybrid journals: up to 58 articles in 2026 in journals from the title list of eligible journals;​
  • GOA Journals: not included in this agreement.

• How to benefit from OA conditions:​​
  1. Submit the article;
  2. Identify institution of affiliation at submission – this must be a b-on member institution to trigger the correct workflow;
  3. On acceptance, AIP notifies the author of the eligibility for open access publication under the b-on agreement;
  4. Follow the author journey steps on the publishers’ platform.

¹ Members that subscribe the all for all hospital package are not included;
