IOP – Publishing conditions 2024

• Eligibility​
  • Responsible corresponding author affiliated to a b-on member institution with access to IOP ¹​.
  • Article type: Papers, Special issue papers, Reviews & Letters; ​
  • Article accepted for publication on date between January 1^st to December 31^st 2024;​
• Publication route
  • Hybrid journals: up to 44 articles in 2024 in journals from the title list of eligible journals;​
  • GOA Journals: not included in this agreement.

• How to benefit from OA conditions:​​
  1. The responsible corresponding author declares their institutional affiliation at submission;
  1. IOP notifies the author of eligibility for open access publication under the b-on agreement;
  2. b-on is notified and verifies the affiliation;
  3. The responsible corresponding author must accept the Open Access² route and follow the steps.

¹ Members that subscribe the all for all hospital package are not included;

² If the responsible corresponding author declines or fails to respond within 5 days, the articles will be published under subscription.
